Popular rapper Megan Thee Stallion and her lawyers have come out to accuse Tory Lanez of indirectly harassing her from behind bars. The latter is currently serving a 10-year sentence at the California Correctional Institution for shooting the singer. He was imprisoned in 2020 after he was found guilty of shooting Megan in the foot. Despite his incarceration, the Canadian artist is running a campaign to discredit Megan’s reputation, as per her recent allegations.
Here are all the available details regarding the “Mamushi” singer’s legal battle with Lanez.
What did Megan Thee Stallion say about Tory Lanez?
Megan Thee Stallion has claimed that Tory Lanez paid controversial YouTuber Milagro Gramz to attack her through her videos. She has already sued the online streamer, doing so in October, for providing false statements about her in the much-discussed trial of Lanez.
Megan has now levied another charge on Lanez in a recently amended complaint. The accusation came to light after her lawyers secured multiple phone recordings of Tory Lanez from jail through a subpoena. After going through the procured matter, the singer’s lawyers claimed that they found sufficient evidence against Lanez for paying Gramz to defame her by using her as his “mouthpiece.”
The aforementioned filing reads, “[Tory] has repeatedly discussed [Gramz] with his father.” The report also added that “the two confidently asserted that [Megan] would never be able to prove that [Tory] pays or paid [Gramz] for attacking [Megan]. [Gramz’s] false statements regarding the Trial are part and parcel of a conspiratorial relationship with [Tory] in which [Gramz] acts as a paid surrogate used to spread [Tory]’s lies about [Megan].”
Aside from Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyers have also added a defamation claim and requested an injunction against Milagro Gramz. The three-time Grammy winner originally sued her for encouraging her followers to see a lewd, deepfake video of the singer and providing false testimonies in the Lanez case, as per HipHopDX.
According to the filing, Megan Thee Stallion is seeking $75,000 in damages in the case, which will hit the courtroom on July 21, 2025.
