I’ve got a great short film for you to watch titled Somewhere in Between, which is a sci-fi time travel comedy, and a love-letter to Back to the Future.

The story centers on two will-they-won’t-they friends who are just keeping it simple this New Year’s Eve — until their house is crashed by a man from the future who tells them that the fate of the universe rests in their hands.

The film was directed by Kyle Vorbach from a script he wrote with producer John Horan. It had a solid run in the film festival circuit winning awards at Rochester International Film Fest, Omaha Film Festival, Austin Under The Stars, and more.

The movie stars Taylor Misiak (FX’s Dave, Fox’s Going Dutch), Ryan O’Flanagan (American Vandal, New Girl) and John Horan (Adam Ruins Everything, The G Word).

Upon the release of the film on YouTube, the filmmakers said: “We are proud to now premiere our love letter to Back to the Future online.”
