“Cuckoo” is a 2024 horror film written and directed by German filmmaker Tilman Singer. The story follows 17-year-old Gretchen, portrayed by Hunter Schafer, who relocates to a secluded resort in the Bavarian Alps with her father, stepmother, and half-sister after her mother’s death. At the resort, managed by the enigmatic Herr König (Dan Stevens), Gretchen encounters unsettling phenomena, including mysterious noises and visions of a hooded woman.
